I've played basketball for most of my life. I have played in the Chicago Pro/Am, with NBA and top college players. I recently played in the Phoenix Pro Summer League with NBA players and pros from around the world. I've had two tryouts with the GM of the Miami Heat as well. I was a special assistant coach for the women's team at Wheaton College in Chicago, Illinois, a division 3 school. I would train the athletes on their skills individually during practice. It was a lot of fun and the women improved dramatically. I then started training other players in the area and some of my players went on to play at the college level.
I have a unique way of coaching. I don't use the same old drills that you see kids doing in camps all over the country. I don't teach with 40-50 or more players in the gym, the players need specific one on one attention for the best results. With this different approach, the players understand what I'm teaching them a lot faster, and they start to enjoy the game a lot more.
I look forward to helping in any way that I can.
